Founded in 2013, Mohalland Lewis, LLC has remained committed to their mission of promoting literacy through creativity, collaboration, and community. The hilarious stories told throughout the Silly Nomads Series are loosely based on author, Marcus Mohalland's own childhood growing up in some of the most impoverished communities in Jamaica where cardboard boxes, soda bottles, and a little imagination brought many adventures for him and his younger brother. 

 

The creative and adventurous Silly Nomads book series, written by co-authors Marcus Mohalland and Jan Lewis, provides young readers with the opportunity to explore a new world and culture through the eyes of two brothers, Suhcrom and Naddih, growing up on the island of Jamaica. Today, the books are found in schools across the United States as well as in 8 other countries!
