“Silly Nomads” is a children's book series that tells the hilarious tale of two Jamaican brothers who create their own amazing adventures through creativity and imagination.
The creative and adventurous Silly Nomads book series, written by co-authors Marcus Mohalland and Jan Lewis, provides young readers with the opportunity to explore a new world and culture through the eyes of two brothers growing up on the island of Jamaica.
Today, the Silly Nomads can be found throughout schools across the United States as well as in other countries such as Jamaica, Canada, and Saudi Arabia.
Silly Nomads teamed up with Broome County Urban League to raise funds for their children's after-school enrichment inclusion programs. This video was created to show our support for these programs and to raise awareness of the importance of nurturing children's use of creativity.
